Lauren Manzo Scalia Shares Throwback Snaps of Markie to Celebrate Her Dad's Birthday
The photos came less than a week after the Manzo'd with Children mom confirmed she wouldn't share photos of her daughter on social media anymore.
On April 14, Manzo'd with Children's Lauren Manzo Scalia said she had made the decision to stop sharing photos of her daughter with husband Vito Scalia, Marchese "Markie" Scalia, on social media. Lauren, who is the daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Caroline Manzo, revealed that she had made the decision because of negative social media comments she was being subjected to regarding her daughter.
"Since so many of you are absolutely insane, mean & don't know how to mind your f---ing business...We will no longer be posting photos of Markie on our [I]nstagrams. This includes my extended family on their [I]nstagrams too. Thanks for f--king it up for everyone else," Lauren wrote on Instagram Stories.
Well, apparently Lauren has had a change of heart. Just six days later, on her father Al Manzo's birthday on April 20, Lauren shared a series of throwback photos in tribute to her dad — and some of these featured Markie.
"Happy 60th Birthday Daddy!" she wrote. "Thank you for being the best father and pop pop in the world. I thank god everyday for making me your little girl[.] I love you forever!"
While Lauren is thankful for her dad, we are thankful for more pics of her adorable Markie! Check out the sweet snaps below.
And it seems her family is taking their cue from Lauren, as Caroline also included photos of Markie in her own tribute to her husband. "Happy 60th birthday ALBERT! He is a gentle giant, a man of very few words, and has a heart of gold. He’s a loyal friend, dedicated son, brother, husband, dad, and PopPop. We are blessed to call you ours. We love you endlessly. Happy, happy, birthday my love," she shared on Instagram.
And while eldest son Albie didn't include a photo of his niece in his own tribute to Al, he did include an epic throwback photo that features Caroline in a tracksuit — and we don't feel worthy. Check out this unexpected gift below.
