Lauren Wirkus Is Engaged to Boyfriend David Raih: "Best Day of My Life"
The Summer House alum shared photos from her engagement and info about how she met her soon-to-be hubby.
Mazels go out to Summer House alum Lauren Wirkus, who just announced her engagement!
Lauren, who appeared on Summer House Seasons 1 and 2 before moving to San Diego to be bicoastal, posted on Instagram that she is now engaged to boyfriend David Raih. "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH DAVID RAIH. I CAN’T WAIT TO BE YOUR WIFE," she wrote, alongside lyrics to the song "Prayed for You" by Matt Stell.
She received a ton of support from her fellow Bravolebs, including Vanderpump Rules' Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Dolores Catania, and Summer House's Hannah Berner. And of course, Lauren's twin sister, Ashley Wirkus McAtee, had much to say about the engagement.
She commented on Lauren's photos, "Crying again reading this. It was the most special day ever. I knew from the first time I met David- he would be your husband! As your twin sister I have prayed & prayed for an incredible man to come into your life and boy did he! So much love and can't wait for this next chapter in your life! To the [Raihs]."
The Wirkus sisters shared about exactly how the February 29 proposal went down on Instagram Stories. Ashley wrote, "I kept her busy in my closet before the surprise." And Lauren definitely looked surprised, as David met her on bended knee with a ring in hand.
Lauren called the day she got engaged "the best day of my life" and shared that they celebrated with dinner on the beach.
It looks like before two hit the beach, they hit In & Out and FaceTimed with the man who introduced them on the last Fourth of July (a big day for Summer House housemates in general) — David's brother, John!
