Lindsay Hubbard Slams Carl Radke's Career After Loverboy Return: "He Does Not Work Hard"
Hear why Lindsay Hubbard is less than impressed with her ex-fiancé's work ethic, as she shared on the Summer House After Show.
While Carl Radke is no longer Lindsay Hubbard's loverboy, the Summer House cast member has returned to the brand Loverboy, the hard iced tea company founded by Kyle Cooke. And unsurprisingly, his ex-fiancée has a lot to say on the matter.
During Season 8, Episode 14 of the Summer House After Show — which aired Thursday, May 23 — a producer asked Lindsay what she thought about Carl's new role. "I don't care," she said point-blank. "Good luck, chuck."
While Carl chimed in to note that things have been "awesome" since rejoining the brand's ranks (Kyle added that it's been "great"), Lindsay had more to say.
"[It was] the easy option. This is what Carl does. [He chooses] whatever's in front of his face, and it makes me question his relationship with me, honestly, because I think I was just easy and in front of his face," she explained. "He does not work hard."

Carl Radke explains his decision to return to Loverboy
Remember: There are two sides to every story. In the same clip, Carl and Kyle gave their own take on the sales professional's grand return. The current iteration of Loverboy, with its inclusion of non-alcoholic options, feels personal to Carl, who has been sober for years. It's also worth noting that Carl's return to the company is on a part-time basis; Kyle doesn't expect him to "work 60 hour weeks" and, this time around, their friendship comes first.
"We're just feeling this out," Kyle noted, which Carl called "the ultimate appeal."
"I've been speaking now about sobriety and mental health. Because of the brand Loverboy now having non-alcoholic [options], it's part of my personal story. Now, when I'm speaking and doing events, it could be mental health-related, but I have this amazing non-alcoholic product to provide. It's awesome," he added. "We're doing something pretty unique and, what, six years later?, here we are with this business and it's continuing to evolve and grow. It's dialed in way better than it was before."
What is Carl Radke's job at Loverboy?
Carl's job description has changed since he first helped Kyle kickstart Loverboy. These days, the former VP of Sales helps the brand on a part-time basis and is involved with developing the brand's non-alcoholic products.
"My signature in my email is I'm the Loverboy advisor," Carl told The Daily Dish at NBCUniversal's Upfront presentation in May 2024. "Basically, what I'm focused on is business development and bringing our non-alcoholic product to market."
Carl Radke Announced His Return to Loverboy at BravoCon 2023
Carl announced his return to the brand in November 2023 while at BravoCon. Months earlier, in February 2023, he'd shared that he'd left his VP of Sales role at the company.
"I think it was important to step away like I did," Carl explained to The Daily Dish at the time.
