Carl Radke Reveals the No. 1 Reason He Called Off His Wedding to Lindsay Hubbard

Carl Radke is sharing brand new details about his split from Lindsay Hubbard — including whether or not he regrets breaking up with her while cameras were rolling on Summer House Season 8.

What's more, Carl also confirmed what the main driving force behind their split was. 

Carl Radke revealed why he couldn't "move forward" with Lindsay Hubbard

Viewers will get to see the moment when Carl and Lindsay called their wedding off as Summer House Season 8 progresses, but Carl revealed on the March 14 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen why he believes the two ultimately parted ways.

"I think a wedding is to celebrate your relationship, and there were foundational things that were not stable to move forward with a lifetime of marriage..." Carl said on WWHL. "I mean I believe in having a stable relationship before you celebrate a wedding, and we were not in that position, I believe, to move forward with the wedding."

Thus far on Season 8, Carl and Lindsay have clashed over his next career move, how helpful he's been with wedding planning, and the use of the word "babe."

As a result, Carl believes that both he and Lindsay are to blame for the split.

"I mean, I think we're both equally responsible for our role in [the breakup]," he added.

Carl Radke Responds to Lindsay Hubbard's Claims She Was "Blindsided" By Their Breakup

As the Summer House Season 8 trailer revealed, Lindsay called a friend to tell her that she felt "blindsided" by Carl's decision to call off their engagement.

Carl reacted to Lindsay's comment on WWHL, noting that their relationship issues have already been featured on the first four episodes of the season. "The reality I was living in, we had some serious things that needed to be addressed, and she didn't believe that," Carl said about her use of the word "blindsided."

"So, it's a tough situation all around," he continued. 

Does Carl Radke regret breaking up with Lindsay Hubbard on camera?

Now that Carl has had many months to reflect on his split from Lindsay, he feels satisfied with how things ended between them.

"No, I don't regret anything [with] the way that it went down," he said about filming the breakup. "I actually think it was the best decision for the both of us to not move forward with the wedding."
