Why Toya Bush-Harris and Quad Webb Are at Odds Over a Polygraph Test
Married to Medicine’s group trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains gets off to a rough start in this tense preview.
The Married to Medicine cast is escaping the city and heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains on the upcoming October 9 episode, but based on this preview, the getaway is going to be anything but peaceful.
In the clip, the tension begins after Anila Sajja brings up her recent home invasion and the fact that she has hired a private investigator who’s interested in conducting polygraph tests on different people. Anila doesn’t reveal which people are of interest — just that she herself plans to take a test — but Quad Webb quickly volunteers, telling the group, “I’m down to take one.”
Dr. Simone Whitmore is immediately perplexed. “Why would you have to take a polygraph?” she asks. “I’m confused. She doesn’t live in the manor.”
That’s true, Quad responds, but ultimately unrelated to the reason she’s willing to be interrogated. Instead, she wants to set the record straight on “if I have any knowledge of maybe what has happened to [Anila].”
“You’re saying you might have some knowledge of who broke into her house?” Simone asks, to which Quad replies, “I’m saying I want to be clear that I don’t, so I’m willing to take a polygraph.”
Toya Bush-Harris, on the other hand, says she’s “not going to entertain that conversation.” But when Anila begins to explain that she’s taking a polygraph test to clear her own name, she asks the group if anyone actually believes the robbery was “a setup.”
Toya’s answer? “Girl, I don’t know what you would do. I don’t know you.”
This doesn’t seem to sit well with Quad, who snaps when Toya suggests the group move on from talking about Anila’s home invasion. “Moving on, my ass,” Quad fires back. “I’ma deal with your ass straight like that.”
Nothing comes of the exchange, but it’s clear that the Married to Medicine cast has a very interesting vacation ahead of them. See more from the upcoming episode in the above clip.
