Mauricio Reveals if He’s Dating Amid His Separation from Kyle: “Enjoying the Journey”
RHOBH husband Mauricio Umansky shared the life update roughly eight months after confirming his split from Kyle Richards.
Mauricio Umansky is in “no rush” to re-enter the dating scene.
The real estate mogul made the claim this week while chatting about Buying Beverly Hills, which will follow Mauricio as he expands his billion-dollar brokerage firm, The Agency, and shed more light on his split from Kyle Richards, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG he married nearly three decades ago.
Although it’s been more than eight months since the two confirmed the separation, Mauricio made it clear he was not interested in starting another relationship — at least, not anytime soon.

Mauricio Umansky says he's "not in a rush" to date again
“I’m spending a lot of time by myself and kind of getting to learn myself and to enjoy myself,” he said during a recent interview with E! News (March 18). “I’ve been enjoying that process. I’m not in a rush to do anything at the moment. I am enjoying the journey and I’m learning from myself."
He continued: "I've got a lot of stuff to do in business... There is no rush to go out there. I’m just taking it a day at a time.”
Kyle Richards says she never "encouraged" Mauricio Umansky to start dating
Kyle addressed Mauricio’s dating life during her February 21 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, shortly after she caught wind of some of the comments he made to their four daughters: Alexia, Sophia, and Portia Umansky, as well as Farrah Brittany, whom Kyle shares with her first husband. The comments in question were featured in a sneak peek of Mauricio’s reality show, in which he told his children that Kyle had “encouraged” him to start dating again.
“I was a little taken aback," Kyle told Andy Cohen about Mauricio's remarks. "He said something like I encouraged him to go and date... It wasn't encouraged. It was, you know, I’d rather, you know, say that if we’re going to be separated — say that so that way I don’t have to feel hurt. And that’s easier said than [done].”
Farrah Brittany addresses Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's split
While speaking to E! News this week, Farrah acknowledged that her family was "in a different spot at the moment," but her parents' split did not wipe away all the years of their "amazing marriage."
"So just because we are in a different chapter, that's still the takeaway," she said before being asked about her parents possibly dating other people. “It’s a whole new world that we now live in. But I think we’re very evolved, we’re very resilient. Our parents are humans and they are experiencing life. Things are changing and we’re just trying to adapt and be empathetic towards everybody’s experiences, be understanding and be supportive, even though it is very unusual and different. We just want everyone to be happy.”
