Kate Chastain Just Experienced a Major "First" While Living in NYC
The Below Deck alum documented her "journey" on Instagram.
Kate Chastain only got a taste of the Big Apple after moving to New York City prior to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic before heading back down to her home state of Florida to self-isolate in a warmer climate for the next several months. But now that Kate has officially moved back to NYC, she's getting to experience what it's like living in the city year-round.
A major winter storm hit the Northeast on Monday, February 1, and Kate documented her experience with the nor'easter on social media, noting the 24-degree temperature outside the night before. The Below Deck alum shared how she was getting ready for the storm in her Instagram Story on Sunday, January 31, sharing a winter storm warning message with the caption, "My first snow storm: an Instagram journey."
Kate also shared how her dog, Halo, was getting ready for the chilly weather, bundling up with a fuzzy hat on his head. "Enjoying the process so far," Kate captioned the adorable photo of her beloved pup in her Instagram Story.
Kate finally went outside to check out the snow for herself. "Oh, boy," Kate can be heard saying in a video as she watched the snow fall onto the NYC streets.
