Padma Lakshmi Shares a Way to Practice Self-Care During Coronavirus Outbreak
The Bravo's Top Chef host is keeping the mood light during a stressful time.
Social media can be a tricky space to navigate when times get tough, and the recent coronavirus outbreak is the most recent example of that. The situation is currently on everyone’s minds: The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom Jennifer Aydin is planning to stay at home with her children to avoid getting sick, The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel is providing kits to help prevent the spread of the virus, and Stassi Schroeder from Vanderpump Rules is monitoring the situation to inform how to proceed with her October wedding, which is planned to take place in Italy.
While the outbreak continues to weigh heavily on everyone’s minds, some Bravolebs are taking to the internet to spread a little joy. Bravo's Top Chef host and executive producer Padma Lakshmi is using her own social media accounts to make the world smile, and honestly, it’s exactly the kind of energy we need right now.
“Take care of yourself during the quarantine, folks,” Padma captioned a video of an adorable puppy getting pampered with a face mask and massage while classical music played in the background. “If you don’t have opposable thumbs, you can find a friend to help you out,” she joked.
Padma kept the good vibes going on Twitter, by quote-tweeting a cute clip of a bat eating a banana slice from the comfort of a shirt pocket. “Me in self-quarantine,” Padma added.
This isn’t the first time Padma’s social media presence has had us giggling. She once shared the hilarious discovery that Jell-O creates edible sand and edible grass flavors. Apparently, you can also play with the snack, and Padma took to Instagram to share her intrigue and horror.
