Shamari DeVoe Reveals How Porsha Williams Has — and Hasn't — Changed Since High School
The Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie is spilling all the tea on their Decatur days.
Atlanta may be a major American city, but it's really such a small world, as we continuously discover on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. These Georgia Peaches' connections often seem to extend far beyond the show, whether it's having intel on their friend's boyfriend's past or previously attending college with a pal (although they sometimes don't have any recollection of it).
And as fate would have it, one of Porsha Williams' past classmates Shamari DeVoe joined the RHOA crew this season. Porsha and Shamari attended school together while growing up in Decatur, Georgia, even if they don't always appear to be the closest.
Shamari said during an interview with The Daily Dish in New York City earlier this week that she and Porsha didn't really hang out together in high school, but they had mutual friends. "We didn't really talk, but we knew each other in passing," she explained.
And when it comes to what Porsha was like in high school, you'll be glad to hear that some things haven't changed. "I just remember Porsha always had a big booty. I used to look at her like, 'Whoa, that's a nice little pop-out thing right there. She has a nice little melon,'" Shamari recalled. "We were on the drill team together. I remember her just dancing and shaking it on down. Just stuff like that."
Shamari also told The Daily Dish that Porsha is now "more mature." During the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show filmed on Sunday, January 6, Shamari noted some ways Porsha has changed since high school (clip above). "She may be a little different from how she used to be," she said. "Now she's more like the Jessica Rabbit Decatur version today."
We suppose joining a glam group like the Atlanta Housewives will do that to you.
