Rachel Hargrove Reveals What It Was Like Working with Kate Chastain Before Below Deck
"We had some really interesting times together," the Below Deck chef said.
After the Below Deck Season 8 crew was announced last fall, Kate Chastain shared that she had previously worked with Chef Rachel Hargrove on a yacht back in 2013 before either of them had appeared on the series. Now, Rachel is revealing all about her time working with the former Below Deck chief stew.
Rachel dished on working alongside Kate in the above Below Deck After Show clip exclusive to Bravo Insider. "We had some really interesting times together," Rachel said of when she and Kate were part of a crew on a boat in Newport.
The chef even recalled one of the owners being a "super big fan of the first season of Below Deck." "Kate and I were like, 'We could do that better,'" Rachel said with a laugh.
Before Rachel joined the Season 8 crew, she would get a chance to see Kate working with the Below Deck yachties as chief stew in Seasons 2 through 7. Rachel opens up about what it was like watching Kate on Below Deck and what advice the longtime chief stew gave her when she became a part of the Season 8 crew, above.
