Randall Emmett Is "Optimistic" After Postponing Wedding to Lala Amid Coronovirus Pandemic
The Vanderpump Rules couple shared a potential new wedding date on WWHL.
It's been a few weeks since Vanderpump Rules couple Lala Kent and Randall Emmett confirmed that they were postponing their April 18 wedding date amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and now the couple is shedding some more light on what their wedding plans might look like.
"The update is we had to postpone it to late July. We're gonna obviously wait to see how things go [and] June 1 reassess the situation," Randall shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week. "But, you know, safety is no. 1 right now. We were heartbroken. We both, I think, shed a lot of tears, and I think we're optimistic and excited to get it onward and upward."

Back in March, exactly four weeks before their intended wedding date, the couple released a statement to PEOPLE confirming their plans to postpone their wedding.
“We have decided to move the date of our wedding to July given the unfortunate circumstances of what is going on,” they said at the time. “We are obviously saddened by this but for the ultimate safety of our families and guests, we have made the decision to wait and see how everything progresses. Safety will always be our number one priority.”
