Bethenny Frankel Comments on the Status of Her Friendship with Carole Radziwill
The Real Housewives of New York City mogul shared her side of their current relationship.
On this week's The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill didn't exactly see eye-to-eye following Carole running in the marathon, as you can see in the clip above. The cracks in their friendship were previously teased in the Season 10 trailer and explored a bit more in the third episode of this season. And Bethenny is now commenting on where she says things stand in an interview with Australia’s TheFix.
“There’s no fallout between Carole and myself. I really love Carole,” Bethenny said, via Us Weekly. “Most of my friends, my best friends, I’d have for 30 years, my best friends. So I have my really tight-knit group, and meeting any new people is always, I don’t want to say risky, but it’s not the same deep and dimension as friends that you’d had your whole life.”
She continued in the interview, “And creating friendships under these circumstances, on a reality show, with so many people around … If you have any sort of slight shift, everybody’s [like], ‘Well what happened? And that happened.’ And so everyone’s involved. There are too many cooks boiling the broth. But I love Carole and I love being on the show with her and it’s been a great experience.”
Carole has also recently offered her own take on her relationship with the Skinnygirl mogul in an interview with E! News. "I'm an idealistic kind of person. I look at the world that way, I look at people that way, and I think I looked at her that way," she said. "And I feel like now I see her a little bit more realistically and less idealistically. There were just some things that were said and done that I just felt like weren't completely consistent with the girl I knew."
Carole added that she "never expected that to happen," and noted that "it was a bunch of things. It just felt like suddenly it was very gossip-y and mean and unnecessary, and I was just like, that's not the person I knew."
