Shortly after confirming their separation after two years of marriage, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill quickly felt the love and support of those close to them.

The former couple shared a joint statement on Instagram on Wednesday, October 12, writing, “LOVE is a beautiful thing. While we both will always have love for one another, we have decided to go our separate ways. No one is to blame and we are grateful that we remain good friends. We will always cherish the many memories we’ve shared together as husband and wife.”

The statement, which they first shared with Entertainment Tonight, continued, “Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and we appreciate our family, friends and beloved fans for your positive support as we move forward and start new chapters. Thank you for your prayers [and] well wishes!”

Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle Robinson, expressed her love for the duo in the comments by sharing a heart emoji. Kenya Moore, who recently reconnected with Cynthia, also posted a similar message to the comments section.

Other members of the Bravo family, including Shamea Morton, Dina Manzo, Jen Shah, Marysol Patton, Sonja Morgan, Alexia Nepola, Gizelle Bryant, Garcelle Beauvais, Vicki Gunvalson, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, and more, also posted their support in the comments.

During the course of Cynthia and Mike’s relationship, Noelle became close with Mike’s daughters, Ashlee and Kayla. In fact, when speaking to The Daily Dish in 2020 about bonding with her stepsisters, she noted, “I call them my sisters in real life… So I’m just like, let me be correct with this. But you know, those are my sisters at the end of the day, like. No matter what happens, we’re always gonna be sisters. We’ve already created that bond.”

At the time, she also spoke highly of having welcomed Mike into her life and even going to him for advice. “It’s honestly been so great to just have him. He’s been such a blessing to our family — in everything. He’s definitely a parental figure for me that I really respect,” she said.

The RHOA alum and the TV personality began dating after meeting on Steve Harvey’s talk show. They became engaged in 2019 and later married in October 2020. Cynthia and Mike’s wedding was featured in Season 13 of RHOA.

Cynthia stepped away from RHOA in September 2021 after 11 seasons on the show.
