Porsha Williams’ Daughter Adorably Told Her Mom This on Her Wedding Day
Plus, the RHOA alum revealed how the wedding served as the perfect way to blend her and Simon’s families.
What’s a Peach State wedding without a little extra sweetness? When The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams married Simon Guobadia in two elaborate Thanksgiving weekend ceremonies, her daughter, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley, proved to be every bit her mini-me while stepping into the flower girl spotlight.
On Thursday, December 1, Porsha shared wedding photos and videos featuring her “beautiful baby girls”: PJ; stepdaughter Ximena, who was a junior bridesmaid; and niece Baleigh, another flower girl. “Yassss Pilar was serving down baby,” Porsha wrote in her Instagram post’s caption. “When she was finished she said ‘I served mommy I served.’”
Porsha didn’t let her girls miss out on the royal treatment, either. “They [were] feeling the princess vibes all day!” the RHOA alum added, noting that the trio was “fully draped” in their Aseobi & Benin beads. “They walked with [their heads] held high and a beautiful sense of pride in being the tiny Queens they are.”
In the comments, Porsha’s sister and maid of honor, Lauren Williams, who’s also Baleigh’s mom, gushed over their “pooka poos” and shared another adorable anecdote. “When she stopped when we all said ‘awww’ I left like a fan being too loud at the concert,” she wrote, adding two crying-laughing emojis.
Meanwhile, RHOA’s Drew Sidora called the pics “simply amazing,” while The Real Housewives of Miami’s Marysol Patton commented, “Breathtaking photos.”
One day earlier, Porsha shared some more sweet mother-daughter Instagram wedding content with PJ that she captioned with a Maya Angelou quote: “I will look after you and I will look after anybody you say needs to be looked after, any way you say. I am here. I brought my whole self to you. I am your mother.”
In her own words, the newlywed added, “I love you with all my heart my little [Pilar Jhena] Mini me.”
The whole weekend was a family affair in general, and as Porsha shared in the caption of another Instagram post, it was also the perfect opportunity for all of their loved ones to come together. During the first of the two celebrations, a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony on November 25, her new in-laws paid special attention to her mom, Diane.
“What I loved the most is how the Guobadia Family honored my mother... and gave her her flowers for raising me [and] giving me love all my life,” Porsha explained in the caption of a November 29 post, also noting that her traditional Nigerian Edo name is Eseosa. “This day was a beautiful celebration of love[,] family and honoring our God and ancestors.”
