Taylor Armstrong Reveals if Daughter Kennedy Will Be on RHOC Season 17
Taylor also shared why it was important for her to join RHOC nearly a decade after her time as a cast member on RHOBH.
Taylor Armstrong may have moved out of the iconic 90210 zip code in favor of living near the beach in Orange County, but some things will never change.
She was originally a cast member on the first three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and in August, PEOPLE first reported the news that Taylor will be appearing as a friend on the upcoming 17th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
While Taylor now calls a different California area home, she confirmed that her daughter, Kennedy Armstrong, also made the jump between franchises. The now-teenager will appear alongside her mom on Season 17 of RHOC as well.
"Yes! You will see Kennedy this season on RHOC," Taylor said in response to a fan during a Q&A on her Instagram Stories in December. "Hard to believe she turned [four] on Season [1] of RHOBH and she's 16 now."
Longtime RHOBH fans will remember when Taylor threw a lavish, $50,000 tea party-themed 4th birthday event for Kennedy on the debut season of the show back in 2010.
Taylor recreated the Mad Hatter-themed party on an episode of Peacock's The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club, and she noted that the event's high price tag was "nothing compared to [the] parties that get thrown now."
She still stands by her past decision to throw her daughter an extravagant birthday party, and she is now looking forward to the future with RHOC Season 17.
"My story felt unfinished..." she wrote in a separate response on her Instagram Q&A about why she wanted to return to Real Housewives about a decade after she was last a cast member on RHOBH. "I am excited to share my new chapter on RHOC."
