Here's Where Heather Dubrow and Taylor Armstrong Stand After RHOC Season 17
After the drama surrounding their respective acting careers, Taylor and Heather both revealed the current status of their friendship.
Taylor Armstrong exchanged her diamond for an orange when she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 17, and the drama has been juicy for her ever since.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum quickly formed strong friendships with Shannon Storms Beador and Tamra Judge (who she appeared with on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2), but she clashed with Heather Dubrow just as fast.
The castmates squabbled about their respective acting careers, but they made amends during a group trip to Montana. Fast-forward to the September 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and Taylor revealed where she stands with Heather today. Even more recently, Heather shared her own update. Taylor's Update on Her Friendship with Heather
Though Taylor and Heather have made amends following their drama (more on that below), when asked on WWHL if she sides with Heather or Shannon in their own feud, Taylor had a surprising response. She chose Shannon, but she agreed that she had “worked it out” with Heather following their disagreement.
“Yeah, but Shannon and I are super close,” Taylor said in defense of her response.
Heather's Update on Her Friendship with Taylor
Heather's take on her and Taylor's friendship status came during a recent episode of Nick Viall's podcast. She revealed that shortly after the RHOC Season 17 reunion, Taylor "sent [her] a perfectly nice text" that included an apology "in the conflict" they had as well as Taylor expressing her desire for the two to "start fresh."
Heather, however, said she does not like "apologies of convenience,” and while she “appreciate[s]" Taylor reaching out, she ultimately found the timing to be "odd."
Heather Dubrow and Taylor Armstrong’s Friendship Drama, Explained
In case you need a refresher, when Taylor joined the RHOC crew for Season 17, she asked Heather if she would be interested in appearing in a TV film with her.
Heather, a seasoned actress who has appeared on a number of TV shows and movies over the years, loosely agreed to appear in the TV film in which Taylor was making her acting debut. The two then read over the script together when Taylor hired an acting coach to come to her home.
Afterward, though, Heather pulled back.
“OMG! Were you serious?” she texted Taylor after the RHOBH alum sent her a picture from the movie set.
During the group trip to Montana, Taylor and Heather got into an argument about the latter cast member’s prior acting work. However, during the final group dinner of the trip, Heather and Taylor resolved their issues.
“I was excited about the movie, and you were so kind to come to my house and help me, so I just want to say I’m sorry for that,” Taylor told Heather on Season 17 Episode 6.
“I have all of this stuff going on… but I came over,” Heather said. “In the future, please, instead of talking to everyone in our friend group, just talk to me.”
