Over the years, fans have wondered if Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi would ever join The Real Housewives of New Jersey, given the fact that she knows some of the ladies and is one of the Garden State’s most iconic residents, after all.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

Snooki and Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives, have long shot down that idea. However, recent headlines have made some wonder if there is any sort of tension between the celebs.

Andy set the record straight on where he stands with Snooki during the June 14 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show. With Snooki’s BFF Joey Camasta, co-host of the Out & About podcast, behind the bar, Andy asked if he could please pass along the message that he has nothing but love for the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star.

“Now, I am in a fake fight with Snooki that is not a real thing. I love Snooki, OK?” Andy clarifies in the above clip. “I feel like people keep trying to poke her and prod her into something, and then it gets in the thing that she and I are in some fight. Will you please tell her I love Snooki?”

Andy goes on to explain that “the issue” stems from his frequently being asked if Snooki would ever be on RHONJ. “My only thing is that she is so identifiable with Jersey Shore and MTV. She built MTV reality shows. So in my mind, I just thought it’s like putting a Kardashian on, like, another show that has nothing to do with it. It’s like two different worlds,” he said. “That was my only thing. It was nothing personal.”

Camasta then asked Andy if he would ever have Snooki on WWHL again (she previously appeared in the Bravo Clubhouse twice in 2012). “I would love it. I love her. I always loved her,” Andy said. “She’s one of our great guests.”

Andy added that he had “all respect” for Snooki.

Snooki later squashed any speculation of a feud between her and Andy on Twitter, sharing the clip from WWHL and writing, “Lmao [laughing my ass off] yasssss.”

While Snooki and Andy agree that RHONJ may not be the right fit for the reality star, the New Jersey Housewives would actually welcome her with open arms, as they revealed during the Season 11 reunion. “I’ve [texted] you about this before, but you always give me a hard no,” Melissa Gorga told Andy at the sit-down last year, before explaining why she thinks Snooki would be a wonderful addition to the cast. “She has kids now, she’s maturing. It’s time for her to come to the ladies, the women.”
