Dolores Shuts Down Rumors About Son Frankie’s Job with Louie: “This Ends Right Here”

Learn why the RHONJ cast member got “upset” at the reunion when her son’s name was brought up.

By Shannon Raphael

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 came to a dramatic conclusion with Part 3 of the reunion on June 13.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

For the third and final part of the reunion gathering, the husbands (plus Dolores Catania’s boyfriend Paul “Paulie” Connell) joined the RHONJ ladies onstage to discuss what they’ve been up to and rehash some of the biggest moments from the season. Some of the major moments from Season 13 included Luis “Louie” Ruelas addressing what he said about wearing Nonno’s pajamas, Joe Gorga weighing in on his family feud with his sister, Teresa Giudice, and Frank Catania bringing up the reason why his son, Frankie Catania, no longer works for Louie.

Keep scrolling for your refresher on Frankie’s connection to Louie, and to get a sneak peek of what Dolores and Frank had to say about why he stopped working for Teresa’s husband.

Frank Catania’s Backstage Confession at the RHONJ Reunion

Before Joe Gorga, Frank, Louie, Paulie, and fellow significant others Joe Benigno, John Fuda, Nate Cabral, and Dr. Bill Aydin went out onstage for the reunion, the guys spent a few moments together backstage. After Joe Gorga teased that the reunion would be a “little ride,” Frank revealed that he had been harboring some resentment toward Louie.

“Normally, I keep my mouth shut. Not today,” Frank said. “Guys, you know as well as I do, I would never chime in, I’d never jump in on the bandwagon, but the fact that he f-cked me this year for no reason and I did nothing but try to help him.”

A previously unseen interaction from Season 13 then played, showing a conversation between Frank and Joe Gorga. During their chat, Frank claimed that Louie never told Frankie (who was working for him at the time) that his business was shutting down.

“He didn’t tell Frankie. Frankie was reaching out and called me and said, ‘Dad, what do I do? I’ve been calling Louie and he won’t respond,’” Frank recalled to Joe Gorga.

Dolores, however, saw things much differently.

Frank and Dolores’ Disagreement Over Frankie’s Former Job with Louie

Once the RHONJ men joined the rest of the cast on the reunion stage, host Andy Cohen asked Frank about the status of Frankie’s job with Louie. “No, Frankie’s no longer with Louie,” Frank said.

“He got another job,” Dolores interjected. “And that was it.”

Joe Gorga responded by saying that was “not what [he] heard,” but Dolores immediately shut down the speculation surrounding Frankie’s job and his relationship with Louie.

“Right now, I’m gonna tell you what happened,” Dolores began. “Louie gave my son a job. He was very happy working with him, and I’m very thankful for Louie. I don’t know what this rumor is, and I don’t want to talk about Frankie at all in this cesspit of anything.”

Dolores’ Update on Where Louie and Frankie Stand Today

Dolores then shared where Frankie and Louie’s relationship currently stands. “This ends right here about Louie and Frankie’s relationship, ’cause they’re very good,” Dolores continued. “So that ends right here.”

She then addressed Joe Gorga directly, saying, “You and I have never had a problem. I don’t want one. I’m very happy and I’m very thankful for Louie and Frankie. Thank you [Louie] for when you hired my son, and that’s it.”

When Andy asked why Dolores was on the offensive, she said, “I’m upset because I don’t want to talk about anything about my son. Frankie has a good job, and that’s all that happened. That’s it. I have no problem with that.”
