Luis “Louie” Ruelas Shares a Major Career Update

During The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 12 reunion, which aired in May 2022, Teresa Giudice’s then-fiancé Luis “Louie” Ruelas revealed that he had been asked to “step down” from the marketing and media company he had started decades earlier because of “all the negative stuff that came up in the press” from his exes after he joined the show.

Though Louie lost his job (and said the situation, in general, “really sucked”), he said he didn’t “have any bad feelings towards anyone” and wanted to “move forward in a peaceful manner” with the RHONJ ladies and their husbands.

When Louie appeared alongside the other RHONJ husbands on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen shortly thereafter, he confirmed that he hadn’t started a new job yet, but it was “all good.”

Fast-forward to his February 14 appearance on the late-night talk series and Louie had an exciting update to share about his career endeavors. 

“[I] started a new company,” Teresa’s husband of six months said. “It’s in media, digital media.”

Host Andy Cohen then asked Louie to elaborate on the nature of his new business, and the Bronx native said he does “lead generation ad sales.”

In addition to the new job, Louie took another major life step recently: marrying Teresa.

Elsewhere in the WWHL episode, he noted that it’s been “quite amazing” to be married to the RHUGT alum. Teresa and Louie revealed that it’s all “love, love, love” between the newlyweds and their ex-spouses too.
