Jennifer Aydin Dishes on Her Phone Calls with Jacqueline Laurita
The RHONJcast member shares her thoughts on the alum's past drama with Teresa Giudice.
Jennifer Aydin has shown some fierce loyalty to Teresa Giudice over the years on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. But Andy Cohen really put that to the test in the April 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when he asked Jennifer to weigh in on some of Teresa's most iconic RHONJ feuds (clip above).
One of those memorable match-ups was when Teresa got upset with Jacqueline Laurita for asking about stories about her in the press back in Season 4 of RHONJ. "We all know Teresa doesn't like being asked questions," Jennifer shared her opinion on that past drama on WWHL. "So, yes, Jacqueline was wrong."
Even though Jennifer has Teresa's back when it comes to her years-long beef with Jacqueline, we learned during Tuesday night's WWHL that she actually has a connection of her own to the RHONJ alum. "I've spoken to her on the phone. She's sweet. I like [Jacqueline's daughter, Ashlee Holmes Malleo]," Jennifer told Andy when asked if she and Jacqueline are friends or in touch at all. "I've never met Jacqueline in person. You know, maybe I will. I have nothing against Jacqueline at all."
However, Jennifer was still quick to come to Teresa's defense when it comes to that throwback moment with Jacqueline. "But as a friend, I can respect someone when they don't want to talk about something," she added.
Perhaps we could even see Teresa, Jennifer, and Jacqueline all hanging out together one day. When Teresa appeared on WWHL in February, Andy read a question from a fan who wanted to know where she currently stands with Jacqueline, before offering up his own take on the matter. "I mean, I think it's time for you and Jacqueline to have a little summit in Vegas [where Jaqueline currently lives] and just let bygones be bygones," he said. "I feel it in the ether."
Teresa said that fiancé Luis "Louie" Ruelas' sister had been teaching her about the importance of forgiveness in general at the time. "She's telling me you need to forgive and move on," Teresa said, before adding of reconciling with Jacqueline, "So, yeah, I mean, maybe I would be open to that."
