Heather Gay Reflects on RHOSLC's “Rough Girls' Trip” to San Diego
The RHOSLC cast member explained why she wanted to "just get through" the latter part of the trip.
While girls' trips are meant to be the time for friend groups to bond and escape the stresses of their day-to-day lives, that wasn't exactly the case when the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City went to San Diego.
During their West Coast excursion, designer shoes were thrown overboard, blowouts were drenched, arguments were had in Marilyn Monroe wigs, and crowdfunding efforts and SEC filings were topics of discussion.
On The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, Heather Gay opened up about why the trip didn't exactly feel like a vacation to her.
"It had been a pretty rough girls' trip..." Heather says in the clip above. "I truly felt a little bit broken, a little bit beat up, figuratively and physically, and I just thought, 'Just get through it.'"
Heather wasn't the only cast member who was just trying to "get through" the getaway.
Former besties Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks weren't able to see eye-to-eye while they were in California, either. Their friendship has been strained ever since Lisa had a hot mic moment during the cast trip to Zion in Season 2.
The Vida Tequila founder doesn't know if the two will ever be able to repair their friendship.
"Just say, 'I don't f-----g like you, and I don't want to be your friend, and no matter how hard you beg, or how many times you apologize, it's never going to be the same.' That's fine. I understand that," Lisa says in the After Show clip above. "Like, I don't expect forgiveness from Meredith. I've apologized, and I mean it, but I can't make her forgive me, and I don't want to. It has to be what she wants."
Whitney Rose also weighed in on Lisa and Meredith's dynamic during the San Diego trip. Find out what she had to say by pressing play on the video below.
