This RHOSLC Cast Member Just Made an Unexpected Cameo on RHUGT Season 3 — Here’s Why

After the drama with her cousin Heather Gay came to a head on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 group’s yacht day, Whitney Rose phoned a familiar face to chat.

On Episode 4, Whitney called her bestie from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Lisa Barlow.

“How’s it going so far?” Lisa asked her pal at the beginning of their FaceTime call. Whitney shared that her ongoing issues with Heather have been at the forefront of their Thailand trip.

“Well, obviously, the Heather-and-I stuff keeps popping up because it doesn’t make any sense to anyone,” Whitney said. “Heather only explains it that I’m lying and I do everything for the show. That’s her excuse.”

The Wild Rose Beauty founder admitted that Heather’s comments “kept triggering [her],” which is why she ultimately called Heather out.

“That really hurt her, and she leaned into that,” Whitney said, and Lisa agreed that Heather was likely feeling “hurt” for being put in the hot seat in front of the other ladies. Whitney also shared that she felt “blind loyalty” to Heather when they joined the RHOSLC cast, which is why she didn’t get along with Lisa at first.

As RHOSLC fans may remember, after failing to see eye to eye on the first two seasons, Lisa and Whitney became close during Season 3. At the time, Whitney’s relationship with Heather was falling apart, while Lisa and Meredith Marksfriendship also hit a speed bump thanks to a hot mic moment.

On an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in September 2022, Whitney herself admitted that she “never thought this [friendship] would happen,” and Lisa agreed.

Then, at BravoCon 2022, Lisa told ET how the two were able to make amends after years of not getting along. “I think the door was always open for Whitney to walk through,” Lisa said. “I was very sensitive of Whitney’s relationship with Heather, and Heather’s feelings towards me, and I think that when Whitney and I first met, we actually got along great… and then things shifted a little bit.”

Lisa noted that the “biggest catalyst” to bettering their relationship was when Whitney told her a rumor she’d heard about how Lisa got Utah Jazz tickets when the group went to Arizona.

“To me, that was being a real friend,” Lisa continued. “Because Whitney literally helped stop something that would have carried on and on and on behind my back.”

The rest, as they say, is history.
