Phaedra Parks Just Shared a Huge Update About Her Life Since RHUGT
The RHUGT Ex-Wives Club cast member revealed the status of her dating life since the season was filmed.
As you might recall, Phaedra Parks shared a sweet update about her love life during Season 2 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip when she revealed that she was “in love now," noting that, while she didn't want to give away too many details about the special someone in her life, he was a physician and “a good guy.”
Well, we have some big news on Phaedra's love life, and she spilled all the details in a recent interview with The Daily Dish. The RHUGT Ex-Wives Club cast member confirmed that she and the mystery man are no longer dating, but she added, "We're good friends. I don't think it's a love connection like I thought it might be... He's a great guy, but, you know, I am still out there dating others. I'm a free agent."
Now that she is a "free agent," as Phaedra put it, she shared what she is looking for in her next mate, including "a great personality, fiscally sound, financially literate. My love language is gifts. Someone that's very savvy, well-traveled. I like to have conversations. I like to have chats about meaningful things."
She also was quick to note why she makes for such a great girlfriend. "But I'm also probably a guy's type of girl because I love sports. I love football, you know? I'm from the south, so I'm all about the SEC, you know? And so, I can talk about sacks and all with the best of them."
Well, while Phaedra is "out there dating," she's also making time for herself. When she's not busy at work on one of her many businesses, as well as raising her two sons, Ayden, 12, and Dylan, 9, she's penciling in some time to make sure she's taking care of herself.
"You really do [have to schedule time for yourself]," the single mom shared. "You have to. But if you don't, your body will schedule it because you fall apart. And so, yeah, you have to really make that a priority, whether it be a spa day, yoga, meditation, prayer. And you have to really surround yourself with a [group of people] that sees your value and recognizes that, you know? If you're not your best self, you can't be your best self for others."
When Phaedra was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen recently, she also shared an update on what her co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband, Apollo Nida, is like today. Check out the update by clicking play on the video at the top of the post.
