Leva Bonaparte's family just got a little bigger. The Southern Charm cast member confirmed on Instagram that they welcomed a little orange kitten to their lives this week — and her son couldn't be more excited, not that we can blame him.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"Today [my son] Little adopted [a new] baby brother. He named him MEMO with conviction... I think the 'house cat' he has been asking for the past few weeks already had a name because he didn’t hesitate at all with the name! Welcome Memo Bonaparte," Leva wrote.

It's pretty obvious that the new kitten feels very much at home with the Bonapartes as evidenced by the photo of the kitty snuggled up in the covers. "This morning Memo is kuddled in my side and [our dog] Lucee is not sure about this whole new sibling thing. Little [is] running around the house screaming 'house cat,'" she said.

We'd also like to take this time to appreciate Leva's adorable pooch, who, as she noted, is now adjusting to life with another furry creature hanging around the house.

Still, it's clear that the dog will always be the queen bee of the furry inhabitants of the Bonaparte home. "The MVP Real Persian Princess (born southern belle) miss Lucifer that goes by nick names (jooj, jooji, Luce, miss Lucee) the sweetest, smartest, sassiest and most loving little girl dog ever," Leva previously shared about her dog.

During the Southern Charm Season 7 reunion, Leva shed some more light on her life at home with her son, who recently turned 3, including how he scored his nickname, Little. She explained that it's a nickname for Lamar Alfred Bonaparte III — and that it was a super cute alternative to "Trip" or "Tre" that her husband, Lamar Bonaparte, started calling him when he was a little baby. "It stuck," she said of the moniker.
