Danielle Olivera Confirms Her Split from Robert Sieber: “It Just Wasn’t Working Out” (UPDATED)

UPDATED (June 6, 9:10 A.M.): Danielle opened up even more about her breakup from Robert during Part 2 of the Summer House Season 7 reunion on June 5.

"I just think that I wanted to spend more time with him, as you saw," she said, referencing the many times viewers watched Robert tell Danielle he wouldn't be joining her in the Hamptons over the course of the summer. "At a certain point, you say, 'Okay, I'm unhappy. Let's work on this,' and unfortunately, his response was, 'I'm going to continue to go to Aspen and not work on this.'"

Lindsay also weighed in on the split. "I was surprised, because I just thought that they would always work through any conflict that they might have," she explained. "But I also wasn't surprised because it's very, very hard dating a chef."

Carl, meanwhile, dropped a surprising bit of information himself. "I actually saw [Robert] recently. He reached out to me and he wanted to talk about the end of the summer and how it all fell out," Carl told the group. "He felt really bad, obviously I feel bad, and it was just good to get on the same page. I care about Robert, I'm really sorry to hear it didn't work out."

Danielle Olivera is opening up about her "new chapter."

During a chat with The Daily Dish, the Summer House cast member confirmed that her and her boyfriend of two years, Robert Sieber, broke up in November 2022. 

"Robert and I have parted ways," Danielle shared. "It happened right before Thanksgiving, and I do not recommend a breakup right before the holidays. It is heartbreaking. It sucks. But, there's no animosity between us. It just wasn't working out."

The tech entrepreneur, who is creating a fashion app, and her chef ex cited their busy schedules as one of the major reasons for the split. 

"Both of our careers and our lives are stressful, [and] insane, and the relationship really took a hit," she explained. "We couldn't communicate effectively, and we needed to find our own happiness, separately, unfortunately. I hope it's for the best, but I can tell you right now, it feels really bad."

She noted that it was "just really impossible" for the two to spend time together on the weekends because of Robert's position as a culinary director. Danielle added that it was "nice" that she was able be in the Hamptons on the weekends while he was working. 

While Danielle and Robert parted ways after filming for Season 7 wrapped, the trailer indicates that her friendship breakup from Lindsay Hubbard will be a major talking point on the show.

The former besties aren't on the same page at the moment, but, in the wake of her split from Robert, Danielle has been getting a lot of support from the other Summer House ladies — including Ciara Miller. Though the two got into an argument on Season 6, Danielle revealed that they've since developed a strong friendship.

"I have so much love for all of the girls, especially with everything that I've been going through," Danielle said. "They've really gone above and beyond for me. Ciara's sending me flowers — what are the odds?!"
