Kenya shared the good news during Part 1 of the RHOA Season 10 reunion Sunday, April 8 (clip above). “We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year,” Kenya surprised her fellow Atlanta Housewives and Andy Cohen at the reunion.

After everyone congratulated Kenya, she said she didn’t want to provide any additional details on the pregnancy because she’s “still very nervous about everything.” When Andy asked if Kenya wants to have a boy or a girl, she replied, “I want a healthy baby.”

Kenya has long shared her desire to start a family with RHOA fans over the years as she navigated the world of dating. She started a new chapter in her life when she wed Marc in an intimate beach ceremony in St. Lucia on June 10, 2017.

Reports began circulating at the end of last year that Kenya had undergone IVF treatments at a fertility center in Barbados and that she was pregnant with her first child. Kenya addressed the pregnancy rumors when The Daily Dish caught up with her last December. "It's no secret that I've wanted a family since I started this show. I've been very honest about that and very vulnerable at times about wanting a family," she said. "And we're definitely doing everything we can to make that happen. And all I can say is you'll know in time."

Still, Kenya revealed that she has already picked out a name for her first child on the RHOA After Show and she's pretty confident about her maternal skills. “Everyone tells me I will be an amazing mom because I’m very nurturing and I’m very patient,” she told Us Weekly in December. “Look how I am with my little puppies. I treat them like they will break. I spoil my little puppy babies. Everyone says I will be a great mom and I’m hoping I will be too.”

Kenya also previously gushed to Us Weekly about the kind of father she thinks her hubby will be to their future child. “He wants to be the kind of father that is really involved,” she shared. “He dreams of driving a minivan. I’m like, who dreams of driving a minivan? He’s so excited. I think it’s cute."
