Scheana Breaks Down Revealing Sandoval Gave Her Thousands of Dollars and Supported Her "When No One Else Was"

Tom Sandoval got emotional about the prospect of being on better terms with his once close friend Scheana Shay on both Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 5 and the subsequent episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show. Now, in a preview for Vanderpump Rules Season 11, Episode 6, Scheana is doing the same.
More specifically, she tears up while talking to Lala Kent about wanting to forgive Tom, but not if it means upsetting Ariana Madix. However, there's also more to her and Sandoval's friendship history than previously revealed.

Does Scheana Shay want to become friends with Tom Sandoval again?
The upcoming episode of Vanderpump Rules — set to air on March 5 — picks back up in Lake Tahoe, where everyone but Ariana and Katie Maloney are vacationing. The above sneak peek shares a glimpse at Lala and Scheana's aforementioned chat, which begins with the latter cast member recapping her text exchange with Ariana.
"She said, 'How is Tahoe? It looks so nice from everyone's stories,'" Scheana tells Lala, adding that she replied, "It's honestly been beautiful and chill. Everything today has been very surface level, nothing deep and no fights yet..."
From there, the two launch into a discussion about Sandoval being on the trip. "The thing is, we're not welcoming him back into this group with open arms being like 'Let's all be best friends again,'" Scheana says. "I just know I can't ever be friends with him again."
Lala describes this as being "really freaking sad," and it's then that Scheana shares some new insight into just close she and Tom once were.

As a teary-eyed Scheana explains, "I was telling Ariana, I'm like, 'Ariana, do you remember in the pandemic when I had no income and I woke up one day to a massive PayPal from Sandoval?' Because I had no money and I had nothing coming in."
She elaborates further in a confessional interview. "During the pandemic, I woke up to several thousand dollars in my account," Scheana says. "He knew I was struggling at the time — my podcast got cancelled, I'm pregnant, I had no income — and he was there for me in a time when no one else was."
As such, "I'm struggling here," Scheana tells Lala. "I'm not saying I'm gonna be his best friend again. I'm not saying, 'Come over for f-cking dinner and let me paint your toenails white.' I'm struggling not forgiving this human who has been there for me."
Lala asks if she's feeling "torn," to which Scheana replies, "I'm not feeling torn, that's the thing. I'm Team Ariana 'til I die."
