Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley Share How They Reacted to Luann de Lesseps' Recent Legal Woes
In addition to the alleged probation violation, Sonja Morgan also discussed attending AA meetings in Miami during the RHONY trip.
Last month, Luann de Lesseps was back in court in connection with her 2017 arrest for alleged probation violations after she reportedly admitted to having had two mimosas after a performance in Chicago. At the time in late May, she addressed the court appearance and what's next for her in her case in a statement: "I am now looking forward to completing my remaining few months of probation. I want to put this behind me and move forward with my life.”
So, how did her The Real Housewives of New York City co-stars Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley feel about the cabaret singer's latest legal woes? "It was a tough one," Sonja shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday.
From there, Dorinda offered up some more insights into the situation, which you can check out in the clip above. Next up, Luann's parole is expected to end in late August.
During the WWHL appearance, Sonja also addressed that emotional trip to Miami, which included her breaking down at various points, including after she went to an AA meeting with Luann during the getaway. She opened up about how she didn't feel supported by Luann after they went.
"In the car, I just wanted to talk to her about my feelings and she didn't want to have anything to do with it in the car and I didn't want to ruin her moment and her ability to recover," she said. "But then when I got with the group they were very much there for me and she wasn't. She went down to the beach. I felt she wasn't there for me personally."
Below, Sonja opens up more about what triggered her emotions after she attended that AA meeting in Miami.
