James Kennedy and Ally Lewber Explain Why “There Is a Catch” to Their “Perfect” House (VIDEO)
The Vanderpump Rules couple's gorgeous new home has one less-than-desirable feature.
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber couldn't be happier about their new home — even if there is "a catch."
After the Vanderpump Rules DJ revealed that he had purchased his first home on Part 2 of Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up Edition (a Peacock-exclusive version of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion), he and his girlfriend of more than two years have continued to post glimpses of their gorgeous Burbank abode, including the backyard, music studio, and home office.
In the video above, which is a first look at the Season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, the couple shared new details about the house, including the one thing they don't necessarily love about it.
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber share new details about their house
In the preview, James asked Ally, "Can you believe this is our house?" to which she happily replied, "No."
"I can't believe it's been two months, literally to the day... It's the perfect first house, I feel like," James said. "It's f-cking crazy. It's so quiet."
However, as a plane could be heard flying over the home, Ally pointed out, "We do live by the airport, so there is a catch."
On the February 13 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, James shared more details about living "10 minutes away" from the airport. "You can hear [the planes], but we're honestly used to it," he said. "It doesn't really faze us...If you come over, you'll probably hear a plane or two."
In June 2023, James told The Daily Dish that he was hard at work on a backyard remodel, and the preview above shows the couple sitting poolside as they continued to work on their home.
"What should we build today?" James asked Ally, who responded, "Let's try the cabinet."
When James admitted, "I hate building stuff," Ally quipped, "I have a feeling that we're going to be calling a Task Rabbit." With that, the couple began to make plans for their first pool party.
Tom Schwartz's housewarming gift for James Kennedy
On the Season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz celebrated James' new house by giving him a sweet gift. "Being a new homeowner, you're going to become obsessed with plants," Tom said as he handed James his present. "I got you a little Monstera."
"By the way, also, when you become a homeowner, you will develop a borderline fetish and obsession with candles," Tom continued as he gave James a candle. "Can you dig it?"
Ally Lewber shares what she's most excited about sharing on Vanderpump Rules Season 11
In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Ally shared what she is excited to show viewers throughout Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. "Definitely the house," she said. "We have a lot of parties this season at the house, and it just is so cool. I'm excited to just watch it back because I feel like it doesn't really hit you in the moment, but then watching it I feel like we'll be like, ‘Wow, that's so cool. Like, we have come so far.’ Because at the beginning of the season, it's not empty, but you know, it's not where it is now. So that'll be cool to watch back."
Ally Lewber shares what she has learned from her Vanderpump Rules castmates
As Ally is preparing for the Season 11 premiere (Tuesday, January 30 at 8/7c on Bravo), she recently shared a behind-the-scenes detail about filming with the rest of the female cast members. In a January 28 Instagram Story photo, Ally answered a follower who asked if the cast has hair and makeup "on standby" during filming.
"I wish!!!" Ally wrote. "No we do not. The girls are so good at doing their own makeup [because] they've been doing the show for so long. We help [each other] out [though], they taught me about lip liner and powder."
After noting there are hair and makeup teams on set for reunion tapings, Ally shared that when it's a "big scene" or she feels "like getting fancy," she turns to Anais Cordova or Jessica Sage for glam.
When Ally does her own makeup, she explained in the Instagram AMA that she currently loves products from Kosas, NARS, Hourglass, Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, and Dior.
