Everything You've Wanted to Know About the Vanderpump Rules Guys' and Girls' Trips, Straight from the Producers

The Vanderpump Rules producers spill all the tea on what goes down when the SURvers go out.

By Sarah Hanlon

In this week's episode of Vanderpump Rules, we got to see not one, but two crazy guys' and girls' trips. While the ladies went wine tasting in Solvang, the guys had a night out of their own in West Hollywood.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

But despite everyone's promises to behave, it's not a true Pump Rules trip without a little regret and a lot of alcohol. These guys' and girls' trips have become somewhat of a staple for the SURvers over the years, and producers of the show are finally revealing some of the most interesting secrets that you know you're dying to find out in the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up. Keep scrolling to find out fun facts like who producers say is the best wingman and who they have to follow to the hotel when tantrums are thrown.

Day drinking is the girls' kryptonite

Tom Schwartz admits that the girls can handle their liquor, "but day drinking into night is their kryptonite." So, just how much did the ladies drink on their first day in Solvang? Producers say that after drinking through the entire ride on the private jet, they went to three wine tastings, had cocktails with dinner, and went to a bar afterward.

Guys' trips are one of James Kennedy's three favorite things

It's very easy to please James Kennedy. Producers say that his three favorite things are, in no particular order, guys' trips, music, and video games.

Sandoval is the best wingman when the guys go out

As seen in this episode, the guys had one goal in mind: Get Peter Madrigal some action. And of all the guys on the trip, Tom Sandoval is said to be the best wingman. Not only does he like to loosen things up with some shots, he knows exactly what to say to get women interested. "Play second fiddle, and don't distract attention from the guy you're trying to hook up," he said.

Lala wouldn't be OK with Randall attending a guys' trip

While Pump Rules newbies Beau and Carter joined this guys' night out, you won't catch Lala Kent's man on the next trip. If she caught wind that Randall was heading out with the guys, she'd "make him fuel the PJ to get me there... and I'd 'Give Them Lala' in the least civilized way."

A producer stays with Kristen when she gets upset

We already know that producers know when to spot the signs of "Crazy Kristen," but when she does come out in full force, they often stay with her until she calms down. After her meltdown at the end of this episode, a producer stayed with Kristen Doute as she went back to her hotel room. And on the last episode of Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up, producers shared that when the girls took a trip to Paris, they had to stay with Kristen until 5:00 am one morning to calm her down after she caused a scene on her hotel balcony.

Katie trusts Schwartz when they have a guys' trip... for now

While Schwartz may not have always behaved on previous guys' trips, Katie Maloney-Schwartz believes her husband has changed. According to producers, Katie has moved past Schwartz's previous mistakes and trusts him "100%... until he gives her a reason not to."

The guys didn't get a noise complaint on this trip

Despite the dancing, the music, the yelling, and all the bottles that were popped, producers said that the guys managed to avoid getting any noise complaints. Although, we can't be sure that that's never happened before...

See what happens when both of these crazy trips come to a culmination on next week's episode of Vanderpump Rules on Monday at 9/8c.
