The Real Housewives of Orange County OG has been documenting the process of redoing her Puerto Vallarta condo since she first purchased it in May 2020, making little changes here and there to spruce the place up over the past (nearly) four years.

Vicki Gunvalson's Puerto Vallarta Condo Renovation Update
Vicki shared multiple photos from her Puerto Vallarta condo on Thursday, showing off her living room, dining room, and patio.
Vicki started with her living room, where she posted a new photo of her updated chairs which are great for chatting in the living room, or turning to look out at the beach. "Love my new fabric on my swivel chairs," she wrote over them.
Next, Vicki took her dining room, where she shared a photo of the elegant marble table, set with placemats and napkins, surrounded by neutral patterned dining chairs which go perfectly with the ocean backdrop. "Out with the orange and green," Vicki wrote, referring to her previous bold, living room design. "New, softer colors."
That is exactly what she got. In 2020, Vicki teased that she would be hiring a decorator for the condo, and wanted a neutral space with pops of color. But, in December 2023, Vicki wrote on Instagram that she was tired of the color. "OK, I'm starting my renovation," she said on Instagram at the time. "I'm over the orange and green."
Out on the patio, Vicki wrote that she bought "new outside lounge chairs" in a neutral striped fabric and got a new dining set for outside, which is the perfect place for drinking her morning coffee.
But she isn't done with the renovations and updates. Vicki wrote on her Instagram Story that her next project is to replace the kitchen cabinets and countertops.
And she isn't taking any of it for granted. Vicki took to her Instagram Story later that night where she shared a video of her view from her patio of the beach and the ocean with the word "grateful" written over it.
Inside Vicki Gunvalson's Second Puerto Vallarta Condo
As previously stated, Vicki purchased the condo in the resort town in May 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. "After spending over 30 years in one of my favorite places in the world, I closed on my vacation/retirement house today," she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post where she announced the big news.
"Other than being with my children, grandchildren...it's one of my happiest and fondest memories and one of my parents favorite destinations," she added.
In the four years since then, Vicki has been spending time at her home in Orange County with her boyfriend, Michael Smith, while traveling to see her grandkids, traveling to her hometown in Illinois to hang out with her childhood friends, and spending some extra time in Mexico.
In July 2023, Vicki revealed that she is building a second condo in Puerto Vallarta that will be finished in April 2024 and serve as an investment property for her while still owning her "vacation/retirement house." "I love Puerto Vallarta, as most of you know," she said in a video posted to her Instagram Story in July 2023.
"The condo that I'm in the process of owning, building...[is] going to be rental income for my retirement," she explained. "So I'm looking forward to getting that finished, but I am not getting rid of this one. This is the most incredible place ever that I've owned [for] almost three years now, and I just love it here."
