It was just last week that Wendy Williams came clean about her addiction to alcohol, but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville says that she's known about the talk show host's problems for years. "This is not something fresh," Brandi said on the March 29 episode of her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered. The former 'Wife then shared the details of a disturbing encounter she had with Williams years ago.
"I knew there was a problem a long time ago, because I did an appearance in Vegas with her where she was not OK — very sloppy," Brandi said. "Her husband kept apologizing for her because she was a mess. And she was not nice to me, either. And prior to that, she used to be nice to me, but [in Vegas] she was mean and like [a] falling-over, wig-shifting mess."
Brandi continued: "This was years ago, and then they wrote about it in like Star magazine, and she just said no, I was fine and everyone just believed her. And she was just so mean to me! I feel sorry for her because I am a fan of hers and to see her that way, it was just like, girl, get it together."
She added: "That was my one-day experience, and she was so rude. After that she asked me to do her show when I was in New York, and I said no. It was that mean ... I'm happy that she's getting help, and that she's finally coming clean ... Too many people found it, she had to come out and say it ... I feel like she had to come clean and say it. And I respect her for doing that, but this is not something new."
After Williams admitted to living in a sober house, she reportedly checked herself out before relapsing and being hospitalized. The relapse came in the midst of reports that her husband Kevin Hunter just had a baby with his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson.
