We Finally Know What *Really* Happened with the Below Deck Med Crew in Split

The end of the Below Deck Mediterranean charter season was not the end to the Lady Michelle yachties' adventures in Croatia. As the Season 6 finale came to a close, the crew headed off to spend some more time together in Split.

We heard a little bit about what may or may not have gone down in Split from the Below Deck Med crew, everything from Mathew Shea comparing the experience to "one of those sex parties I go to" to things leaning more toward a "very PG" time, according to Lloyd Spencer, with David Pascoe seemingly seconding that. "Me and Lloyd had a f--king banging kebab," he said of the excursion.

However, the yachties mostly stayed mum on the subject, which, of course, only intrigued us even more. "A few things definitely happened that will never be spoken of again," Courtney Veale said, with Lloyd adding, "Only the people that are there are ever gonna know."

Ultimately, Katie Flood left us with this: "What happens in Split stays in Split."

So, what really happened in Split? Andy Cohen pressed the Below Deck Med crew for more details during the Season 6 reunion, which aired on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on October 18. This time, Katie painted quite the lovely picture of what went down on this yachtie holiday. "We had, honestly, a good time," she said. "We partied a lot. And we just enjoyed each other's company again."

Even though it looked like things might have taken a romantic turn for Courtney and Mzi Dempers in Split, they both confirmed during the reunion that they did not, in fact, hook up. "We're still just good friends," Courtney said.

Mat added that he couldn't "even remember" if anyone hooked up in Split. "But it was a good time," he said. "Malia took us to the best bracelet shop."

Just when it started to sound like Lloyd's "very PG" account of the vacay was perhaps more accurate, Mathew and Courtney revealed that they "saw everyone naked," although they also could have totally been kidding. "I think I missed that night," Malia joked at the reunion.

However, it seemed like romance did bloom for a couple of crew members in Split. When Andy asked "who else was in the house besides the on-camera crew," Malia revealed that her current boyfriend, Below Deck Med Season 6's engineer Jake, joined the other yachties on their stay. "Well, I mean, obviously we needed an engineer there," Malia said.

Andy then asked if that was when Malia's "relationship with the engineer really took off," which the bosun confirmed that it was.

The Below Deck Med Season 6 crew members are on great terms with one another, with all of the yachties at the reunion confirming that they still talk to each other every day. And their group chat is appropriately called "Let's Get F--king Split-ted," Malia shared at the reunion.

Split shenanigans aside, Captain Sandy Yawn couldn't have been happier with her crew this season of Below Deck Med. "I'm really proud of the crew that they stayed within the quarantine, no one got sick," she said as the reunion came to a close. "We made it through this season, and to me, that was a success to be able to film this show."
