The Toms Reveal the Reason Schwartz & Sandy's Wasn't Featured on Season 11
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval explain why the bar they co-own wasn't seen on Vanderpump Rules this season.
While no one is surprised that the Season 11 finale of Vanderpump Rules is chock-full of shocking moments, it's somewhat surprising that there's still more to reveal. Still, the extended and uncensored version — which is now streaming exclusively on Peacock — proves there's a lot more unseen drama where all that came from.
As it often goes, some of these realizations pertain to questions we didn't even know we had. With so much drama happening during VPR Season 11, did you notice that a key player was missing from the scenery? We're talking about Schwartz & Sandy's, the bar that Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz opened in November 2022.
During the extended and uncensored version of the reunion Part 1, the Toms revealed why their bar didn't serve as a backdrop to this season's drama.
"I have to ask. Sandoval, we have not seen Schwartz & Sandy's at all on the show this season. I have to assume there's a story behind that," said host Andy Cohen, prompting laughter from the St. Louis native.
"Well, yeah. When everything sort of happened I obviously took a step away [from the bar]," he explained, referencing the aftermath of his affair. "And our other partner had an issue with filming. He didn't want anybody filming [in the restaurant]."
Schwartz then popped in with more intel: "Obviously this is the best platform in the world to promote your sh-t, but it turned on us."

Nevertheless, the men also noted that they're in a much better place with their partner, and the bar as a whole.
Is Schwartz & Sandy's Closing?
No, Schwartz & Sandy's isn't closing.
"I think we're in the midst of a bit of rebirth or a resurgence," Tom Schwartz said in a February 2024 interview with The Daily Dish. "We have a newfound sense of camaraderie there. Me and my partners, Tom, Greg, we have momentum again. We're communicating clearly. I just feel like the vibes are different in there."
What's more? There are exciting updates in the works for the bar.
"We just installed a new sound system, and it wasn't cheap," Schwartz added. "We're going to implement the music program we always talked about implementing. We want the music to be just as important a component as the food, and the drinks, and the customer service. So I'm really excited about that."
Tom Schwartz's financial investment in Schwartz & Sandy's is "haunting" him
During Season 11, Episode 13 of VPR, Sandoval brought up the idea of Schwartz moving into his house and paying him $6,000 in monthly rent. However, Schwartz was quick to shut the idea down.
"[I] can't afford that," the Minnesota native said. "Dude, the bar almost ruined me."
In a confessional, he further explained his wariness.
"I just want to make sound financial decisions from here on out," he added. "I mean, the last high-stakes venture I did with Sandoval, you know, it's kind of still haunting me to this day."
How much did Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz invest in Schwartz & Sandy's?
During the Season 10 premiere of Vanderpump Rules (the bar was a big focus last season), Sandoval revealed that he and Schwartz "invested a million dollars into this project."
Lisa Vanderpump also revealed during the Season 10 reunion that she gave the Toms back their investment from Tom Tom the week they opened Schwartz & Sandy's because "they needed money."
Here's hoping things are going even better for the businessmen these days.
