Here's Why Rob Phillips Wasn't at the Below Deck Season 8 Reunion
The deckhand was noticeably absent from the sit-down with Andy Cohen.
The My Seanna crew logged in from all over the world to break down the buzziest moments of the charter season with Andy Cohen during the Below Deck Season 8 reunion on February 22. However, one crew member was noticeably absent from the sit-down.
Rob Phillips, who joined the crew as a deckhand following Shane Coopersmith's departure this season, was unable to join the other Below Deck yachties for the reunion. "Well, Rob is in Fiji digging for gold, so we're gonna have to proceed without him tonight," Andy announced at the top of the reunion.
Rob previously showed his attempt to call into the Below Deck reunion as a cyclone hit where he was located in a post on Instagram on January 29. "We're trying to call into the Below Deck reunion show from the [satellite] phone because the network's down, the power's about to go out, the cyclone is just rolling through. But I don't think this is gonna work. I don't think anything's gonna work today," he said in a video in the post. "So, from my own little reunion show, love you guys, miss you. Hope everyone's doing great."
Eddie Lucas wrote, "You were missed," in the comments of Rob's Instagram post, while Ashling Lorger also sent four red heart emojis the deckhand's way.
