Robert Phillips

Deckhand

Originating from a small town in Canada, Robert Phillips was brought up with a sense of adventure and to become a geologist by trade. Starting at a young age, he was introduced to the sea after rebuilding a sailboat with his father. Throughout his youth, Robert learned to race sailboats and competed internationally. For several years Robert has embarked on various freelance sailing charters around the world and extreme offshore races with Spartan Ocean Racing. Through geology expeditions, Robert also explores the remote corners of the Earth on the hunt for rare minerals and precious metals. He has traveled all over, from Alaskan peaks through the Amazon and across the Arabian desert. This season, Robert will sail My Seanna in the Caribbean.
