Lauren Manzo Has Feelings About Ashlee Holmes Malleo's Big Update on "Baby No. 2"
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter just dropped big news about her life with Pete Malleo.
Ashlee Holmes Malleo is a mom again. Well, she's now a mom to an adorable pet dog, in addition to her son, Cameron Malleo.
"You can all stop asking me when baby [No.] 2 is coming now. What do we name him?!" Ashlee captioned the Instagram photo of the adorable dog. She later added, "Update: His name is Jeter Tomato Malleo. A compromise for Cameron lol."
While Ashlee's mom, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jacqueline Laurita, has yet to react to the news of the pooch's arrival, Ashlee's cousin, Lauren Manzo Scalia, weighed in on the new family member, writing in the comments, "He looks like a Clay ...idk why." (Full disclosure: We don't know who Clay is, but we'll take Lauren's word for it.) Lauren's daughter Markie recently became a big sister to a puppy named Polly, ICYMI, so she might be able to offer up some advice.
Ashlee also shared a photo to Instagram Stories that seems to suggest that a bond is being forged between Cameron and his new pal, Jeter Tomato.
Ashlee and husband Pete Malleo recently spent some time with another Manzo cousin, Albie, along with his girlfriend, Chelsea DeMonaco. "Today was a good day," Pete wrote about the family hang session. Elsewhere on Instagram, Ashlee commented on the photo, "Love this."
Life has been interesting for the family as of late. Ashlee and Pete revealed they had gotten back together several months ago after announcing their separation in 2020. Back in February, Ashlee shared that she and her husband are “unseparated (for now lol).” At the time, Pete joked, “I’m only here until I break 20K followers,” to which Ashlee replied, “That’s okay. I’ll be sick of you again by then anyway. (We can discuss this in therapy.)”
Ashlee and Pete got married at the City Clerk’s office in Manhattan in August 2018 after years of dating, and together, share a son, 4-year-old Cameron. Ashlee, Pete, and family currently live in New Jersey after Ashlee and Cameron briefly relocated to Las Vegas, where her mom lives.
