We Have a Major Update on Luke Gulbranson and Gabby Kniery's Friendship
Here's where the Winter House cast members stand today after a roller coaster of a time in Vermont.
Though there was SO MUCH love in the air this season of Winter House, romance unfortunately did not bloom for Luke Gulbranson and Gabby Kniery. Feeling an immediate connection with Luke, Gabby expressed that she had romantic feelings for her fellow Midwesterner. However, Luke told Gabby that he wanted to just be friends.
Things took a dramatic turn when Luke started showing interest in fellow housemate Julia McGuire. After a tense argument between Gabby and Julia, the ladies ultimately ended the winter on good terms. But where do things stand between Gabby and Luke now, you ask?
Well, these two also seem to be doing just fine these days. Luke recently shared a photo of himself and Gabby having a "Midwest hangout" in a post on Instagram on January 9. The pic shows Luke, who hails from Minnesota, and Gabby, who is originally from Missouri, enjoying a lovely time out while having a couple beers.
Their Midwest roots and shared love of the outdoors were just some of the things that initially bonded Luke and Gabby, as we saw this season of Winter House. So, we can only imagine how much fun it must have been for them to be able to experience their home region together.
Gabby underscored just how adorable the friends look in the photo, writing in the comments of Luke's Instagram post, "We’re the cutest." She also shared a video of the pair goofing off while dancing in a bar in her Instagram Stories.
We'll find out what else Luke has been up to since Winter House when he returns for Season 6 of Summer House premiering Monday, January 17 at 9/8c. As for what's on tap for Luke in the new season of Summer House, a press release for Season 6 has this tantalizing tease: "Finally moved on from Ciara [Miller], Luke Gulbranson wants to have a summer filled with fun…and romance. No stranger to love-triangles, Luke finds himself getting pulled into different directions throughout the Summer and once again has his fair share of drama."
In addition to Luke and Ciara, Lindsay Hubbard, Paige DeSorbo, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, and Danielle Olivera will also all be back for Summer House Season 6, as will Andrea Denver, whom we first met this season of Winter House, and newcomers Mya Allen and Alex Wach. Craig Conover and Austen Kroll, whom fans know from Southern Charm and Winter House will also be making appearances throughout the season.
