Kourtney Kardashian Approves These Healthy Buys From Trader Joe's

The Keeping up with the Kardashians sister devoted a Poosh post to healthy finds at Trader Joe's.

Everyone has a different way to Trader Joe's. (No, that's not a verb. But it should be, right?) Texicanas' Karla Ramirez heads straight to the condiments aisle to stock up on a certain "secret" sauce, while Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave favors the chain's lemon-pepper chicken.

And as it turns out, even the team at Kourtney Kardashian's lifestyle website Poosh is obsessed with the grocery store. (Small world!) What, exactly, do Kourtney and her peeps pick up at Trader Joe's? Glad you asked! In a recent post, the Poosh team listed the exact healthy buys they fill their TJ's carts with. 

Before diving into the haul of Poosh-approved items, the editor did make this caveat clear: "There used to be a time when I myself refused to go to Trader Joe’s. This was mainly because they did not carry niche health food items like ghee, coconut yogurt, or nutritional yeast. But over the years, Trader Joe’s has evolved with the times and is becoming more and more current with their offering of healthy, niche food items."

Among those "current" offerings are organic mangoes and berries, coconut oil and ghee, and "crispy and sweet" Envy apples. The site also listed bone broth, nutritional yeast, and coconut aminos. Even some offerings from the frozen-food section made the cut, including silver-dollar pancakes and gluten-free cauliflower pizza.  Plus, try this on for size as a potato-chip alternative: 

"Dehydrated carrots are a more recent discovery and turned out to be a hit," Poosh says. "They are a nice alternative to potato or tortilla chips and are made with just carrots and sea salt."
