Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, are spilling some sweet secrets about their relationship, including how they got together when he worked behind the scenes on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and who was the first to say, "I love you."

"I said I love you first," she revealed on Black Love.

"She did," Todd smiled.

"It was in a moment of passion, and I was like, 'Did I just say that? Why did I do that? Did I mean that?' Because, you know, when it's good you sometimes say, 'I love you' and you’re like, 'Did I mean to say that?'"

"That's not why you said it," he smiled more broadly.

She said that she's not normally the one to say it first, and Todd didn't say it back when she blurted it out.

"When you really like somebody and you’re trying to do it right, it's kind of like you want to choose those words at the right time," he explained. "And then when I told you I told you at a random-ass time. You were getting in the car and I was like, 'I love you.' But it was my time, you know what I mean? So I just didn't think in that moment it wasn’t the right time [to say it]."

Kandi agreed: "It really wasn’t, because you shouldn’t just tell people during sex, it's not the right time."

"You might not have really meant it," he said, meaning in the heat of that moment. "Did you really mean it?"

"Obviously I did because we're here and I love you!" Kandi replied.
