Shereé Whitfield Is Channeling “Early Shereé” with a Gorgeous Hair Change (VIDEO)
The fashion designer opens up about her stunning — and nostalgic — new look in a sneak peek of the RHOA Season 15 After Show.
From rocking icy blonde and dark red hues to sporting styles like bangs and braids, Shereé Whitfield is no stranger to switching up her hair looks. While The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is known to be adventurous with her ever-changing ’dos, she recently bought back a style that will seem quite familiar to longtime RHOA viewers.
Shereé Whitfield debuts a new hair color
In the video above, which is a sneak peek at The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 15 After Show (premiering on Sunday, July 9), Shereé explains her stunning new dark brown hair color. “I’ve been blonde on and off for a while. I was adamant that I wanted to be dark today,” she says. “This is early Shereé.” (Watch the clip to see Shereé’s current look compared with that of her early days on RHOA.)
Marlo Hampton seems to approve, telling Shereé and Sanya Richards-Ross, “We can never go wrong with our natural color hair.” Although Marlo has also been known to rock a lighter hair color from time to time, she admits in the video, “I get in trouble with my blonde hair.”
The ladies’ tresses are a hot topic in the clip, as Kandi Burruss tells Drew Sidora, “I love your hair,” and adds, “I know everybody used to go in on your hair the first season you came in. I think we all go through that.”
After joking she was “hazed,” Drew admits, “I had to step up. It forced me to be better.”
Shereé Whitfield teases another new hair change
Although Shereé seems happy to return to her roots with the dark brown color for the After Show, she recently teased that another hair change is coming.
“While I’m letting my hair breathe I was thinking about bringing my protective style back,” she wrote in the caption of a June 29 Instagram post. “Should I do locs, crochet, cornrows, or braids?…Sooooo indecisive.”
The RHOA cast brings sizzling fashion to the Season 15 After Show
Although hair is a big part of the conversation in the video above, the cast’s jaw-dropping fashion deserves its own moment. Marlo and Sanya look stunning in asymmetrical dresses, with Marlo opting for a black, white, and pink Alexander McQueen look, and Sanya selecting a “light and fun” number that gives a “beach” vibe.
Green is a go-to color for Drew, who sizzles in a “money green” sequined minidress with a sewn-in exposed bra, as well as Shereé, who turns heads in a neon green long-sleeved high-neck dress with dramatic cutouts.
Kenya Moore and Kandi both dazzle in vibrant colors: Kenya wears a “fitted” pink dress that has her feeling “tight and right,” while Kandi dons a long orange cold-shoulder dress and eye-catching earrings.
