This Is What a Sunday Barbecue Looks Like in Kyle Richards’ Backyard
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member’s family recently had an enviable cookout in their stunning outdoor space.
Kyle Richards and her family have epic barbecues, both on camera and off. Viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have seen Kyle host some legendary backyard bashes. But even when the RHOBH OG’s family is just chilling at home, they know how to grill out in style.
Kyle’s Memorial Day Barbecue
On Sunday, May 28, Kyle’s daughter Alexia Umansky shared photos from a family barbecue in her backyard. Her first snap showed her dad, Mauricio Umansky, hard at work at the grill while his three dogs kept him company.
In the next photo, Alexia’s followers got a look at what Mauricio was cooking up. The real estate pro showed a plate loaded with perfectly grilled sausages, potatoes, and vegetables.
It’s possible that some of the veggies came from Kyle’s garden, which she talks about in the clip above. While giving BravoTV.com a tour of her outdoor space, the expert entertainer points to her vegetable-laden plot.
“Here is the garden!” she says proudly. “Look at my artichokes, which I am very excited about. Look at this. Did you guys know that artichokes grow this tall? I love having all the stuff that we use here. We’ve got mint leaves, we’ve got basil, you name it.” The garden also grows strawberries, and — as Kyle has shared in the past — chili peppers.
In Alexia’s photos, Mauricio is grilling in the gazebo. Kyle also dishes about the white fixture in the clip above. “You guys have seen a dinner or two in this gazebo here,” she says. “We had most of our lunches and dinners sitting out here. You’ve seen Housewives dinners and lunches out here. It’s a really special spot.”
Kyle’s Daily Diet
Alexia’s recent Instagram posts showed how her family eats on a holiday weekend. And earlier this year, Kyle dished about her more typical daily diet.
On the January 23 episode of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Tamra Judge’s podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, the Beverly Hills native said she’s “not a big breakfast person.” Still, Kyle said she normally has eggs or a smoothie with protein powder after a morning workout.
For lunch, Kyle usually has fish with vegetables, and her go-to dinner is chicken breast and a salad. Kyle also noted that she eats fruit and drinks “lots of water” throughout the day. On the podcast episode, Kyle noted that she has cut out alcohol for the time being.
