Why Lisa Hochstein Credits Real Housewives of Miami for Her More Subtle Look
The Miami Housewife has been candid about her beauty routine and decision to dissolve her fillers.
Lisa Hochstein is keeping it real.
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member has long been known for her glamorous looks and stunning physique, having been married to Lenny Hochstein, aka the “Boob God” of Miami, Florida, for more than a decade (they've since separated). But after seeing Season 4 play out on Peacock, the South Florida resident had to take a step back and reevaluate her relationship with cosmetic fillers.
"I definitely had an addiction, and watching the show, I saw it, and I was horrified," she shared in a January 2022 appearance on What What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
Though beauty standards definitely played a role in Lisa’s decision to receive injectable fillers, she added that her involvement in the Hochstein Medspa was a major influence. As she explained to Andy, “It's available to me. I can do whatever I want, so I did, and it was a huge mistake."

Lisa Hochstein’s Plastic Surgery
Lisa first went under the knife when she was 19 and had size-A breasts. Seeking a more voluptuous figure, she had a breast augmentation, but the results were not what she expected. In retrospect, Lisa knows that she should’ve waited until she could afford a better surgeon.
“I didn't do my research, which is very important. Don't always look at the cost, because you get what you pay for,” she told TooFab, adding that a surgeon should always be board certified.

She later married Lenny “The Boob God” Hochstein, who ultimately gave her size-D implants, in 2009. Fast forward three years and Lisa was cast on The Real Housewives of Miami, in which her tagline was “My husband built the perfect wife and I built the perfect life.”
“I'm just poking fun at the fact he's a plastic surgeon and he redid my breasts because I had a bad boob job before. I called it a ‘uniboob,’” she told the outlet. “I wanted them to make them look nice. I'm walking around with this guy who's known as ‘The Boob God’ ... how silly would it look if I was walking around with a horrible boob job and people would associate his work with that?”
She added that she also underwent a rhinoplasty, but noted, “It didn’t change my face that much.”
Why Lisa Hochstein Dissolved Her Fillers
Lisa revealed her decision to dissolve the fillers when The Real Housewives of Miami returned to Peacock for Season 4. Years had passed since the Miami Housewives had been on TV and Lisa was the first to admit she looked very different.
“I’m very aware I had too much filler in my face. I’ve removed a lot of it since we wrapped. I was addicted,” she replied to a fan in December 2021. “Thankfully it can be reversed. So there.”
Addressing the situation more in-depth on WWHL, the mother of two said that she probably had “60 percent of the filler” dissolved once she realized that she had made a “big mistake.”
“I feel like I'm...looking more like myself," she declared. "And that's great."
Lisa Hochstein’s Shiny White Teeth
In addition to plastic surgery, Lisa has confirmed that her pearly whites are thanks to Dr. Michael Apa, who has worked with Real Housewives of New York City’s Ramona Singer and Beverly Hills’ Kyle and Kim Richards, as Bravo’s Style and Living has previously reported.
Lisa specifically sought to have her existing veneers replaced with new, whiter ones, according to Page Six.
“She wanted an update that would address her concerns with shape, texture and color. We were able to design something special and very, very white (per her request), yet still natural-looking,” Dr. Apa shared.
Lisa Hochstein's Beauty Routine
Over the past few years, the mother of two has given a glimpse into her beauty regimen, revealing that she's a strong believer in laser treatments and facials. She particularly loves Brazilian keratin treatments, calling them her "secret weapon against the moisture-filled air" in Miami, according to HauteLiving.com.
She's also frequently tests out the newest services offered at Miami spas. Most recently, she tried the Emscult Neo machine, which uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology (HIFEM) to stimulate the muscles. What's more, the treatment is approved by the Food and Drug Administration, according to InStyle.
Lisa focused on her abs during one session, saying in an Instagram clip that she's excited to "get snatched."
In addition to undergoing cosmetic treatments, Lisa believes that maintaining a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water is the best way to "bring your mind, body, and soul to a better place," she wrote for HauteLiving.com.
