Danielle Staub Is Finding Peace at Home (and in Her Sauna!) Amid Ongoing Divorce
The Real Housewives of New Jersey notable's home is her sanctuary, even though the house is caught up in a testy divorce.
Danielle Staub may be embroiled in a messy divorce dispute with her husband, Marty Caffrey, but that wont stop her from finding serenity in her tranquil New Jersey home — at least for now, since Danielle’s soon-to-be-ex is trying to sell the home. However, negotiations between the two are ongoing, so The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom continues to kick back and find some peace in the beautiful digs. (Tune in to RHONJ on Wednesdays at 9/8c!)
Danielle recently gave Home & Design a tour of the 7,500-square-foot, six-bedroom brick colonial, which oozes comfort with plush furnishings and boasts a massive dining table for big Sunday dinners. Danielle has also outfitted the home with serene spaces where she can unwind, like her “pink room,” which features a long velvet pink couch, and a small sitting area in her bedroom where she takes her tea. “I’m obsessed with having a nice area where you can sit and have some tea,” she said, pointing out a set of rosaries that once belonged to her mother on a side table. “I just become at peace when I’m sitting here every morning.”
But when Danielle really needs to destress she heads downstairs to her custom sauna, pours a little water over the rocks, and takes a deep breath. “This is the most exciting part of my day,” she admitted.
