Amid Immigration Battle, Teresa & Joe Giudice Discuss the Future of Their NJ Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple reveal whether they'll be selling their New Jersey mansion.
After watching The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked on October 27, viewers learned that a lot of issues between Teresa & Joe Giudice are still very much up in the air. For instance, neither know if Joe will ever be allowed back into the United States, and the state of their marriage — specifically whether or not they’ll get a divorce — is also being deliberated by the longtime couple.
Another discussion they are going to have to face: The future of their 11,000-square-foot, six bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom home in Towaco, New Jersey. Currently valued at $1.73 million by Zestimate, the home was last listed for $2.99 million back in 2015 when the property was under foreclosure.
Not one to beat around the bush, special host Andy Cohen asked the couple what the plan is for the sprawling home. “I mean… we have to discuss that,” Teresa admitted. “I wanted to keep the girls there, 'cause I didn’t want them, you know, to go through another change. And I am glad I was able to. But it is a lot to upkeep.”
Added Joe: “That’s something we have to talk about as well. And I tell her she’s got to get somebody with a lot of money. Somebody with a lot of money to take care of all those things.”
While Joe was in ICE custody over the summer, Teresa added a major upgrade to the 3.77-acre property — a stunning pool! Complete with fountains and an in-water lounge pad, the outdoor feature will certainly up the home’s value, should the couple choose to put it on the market once more.
