Joe Giudice Shares His Thoughts on Teresa's "Chopped Up" Bodybuilder Figure
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband said of his wife's new body: "That's the way she looked when we first started dating."
During The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, Teresa Giudice shared some candid details with Andy Cohen about the time her husband, Joe, spent in prison. Among other revelations, Teresa confided that she feels more independent these days, and that her new life includes doing some things her husband might not have previously approved of.
A flashback montage showed Teresa preparing for the bodybuilding competition she got famously fit for. While pumping iron, she'd told her trainer: "I wanted to do this when Joe was home, and he always said to me, 'You're not doing that.'"
So, how does Joe feel about his wife's foray into bodybuilding, Andy Cohen asked? "I mean, it's something she wanted to do and I just supported her and I said, 'OK, well, if that's what you want to do.' I mean she did good, you know, what'd she get, third place or something like that?"
When Andy pressed: "Did she look hot to you, [with] her body like that?" Joe paused before responding. "I mean, that's the way she looked when we first started dating. She was kind of chopped up like that; she was ripped up like that."
