How to Watch

The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom hit the Big Apple on Friday, September 8, to make her official catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week. Jennifer teased the exciting moment in a series of Instagram Stories, confirming that she would walk in the Michael Kuluva show alongside her teenage son Jacob.

“We will both be walking for [Michael Kuluva] tonight,” she captioned a post, which showed her and Jacob in their New Jersey home.

Jennifer returned to Instagram about a day later to provide a sneak peek at her outfits for the big night. The first was a sleeveless black dress with a slight scoop neck and a billowy pleated skirt that fell above the knee. The classic yet flirty garment was complemented by a multi-strand pearl necklace and a pair of black open-toe heels.

As for hair and makeup, Jennifer rocked a subtle smoky eye with a natural lip color, and a high ponytail with loose curls.

“All right, we’re at the Michael Kuluva show, which is starting in less than two hours, where I’m going to be making my runway debut. So wish me luck,” she said in an Instagram Story. “It’s almost time. They just gave me these fantastic earrings that say ‘Kuluva,’ for Michael Kuluva, of course. This is the ’fit. Hair and makeup done by me. And you know what? I’m gonna kill it.”

Jennifer’s second dress was a baby-pink mini with a classic tweed pattern, a plunging neckline, and halter straps. The piece was styled with a pair of white Dr. Martens military boots, which added an edgy element to an otherwise traditional look.

Footage from the event showed Jacob wearing a black Michael Kuluva sweatsuit while leading the final walk. His mom closed the runway show in the aforementioned pink dress, which was accessorized with a white clutch.

According to a press release, the Michael Kuluva 2024 collection was inspired by the “‘American Girl in Paris’ and jet setting around the South of France for the summer.” The contemporary range was anchored by sustainable cactus leather and tweed.

“That’s a wrap. I closed the show, but Jakey opened,” Jennifer said in another Instagram Story. “And now we’re going out!”

Jennifer and her family concluded the night at Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Manhattan. Her eldest daughter, Gabby, shared a look at the dinner in a September 8 Instagram Story, which captured her parents having a toast.

Jennifer Aydin’s Marriage Update

The Michael Kuluva show occurred just two weeks after Jennifer and her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. The New Jersey mom commemorated the milestone by posting photos of her wedding day as well as a sweet message to her hubby: “21 years,” she wrote, “For better or worse, my love.”

Since then, the New Jersey couple has enjoyed multiple family events and romantic date nights, including a September 3 outing at the Jersey Shore.

Like many couples, Jennifer and Bill have experienced plenty of ups and downs throughout their decades-long relationship. RHONJ Season 13 shed more light on their marital issues and their efforts to resolve them with counseling. Although Bill was initially against couples therapy, Jennifer revealed it had done “wonders” for their marriage, so much so that she says they don’t need to go back.

“Going to therapy, even though it was one session, it really meant something to him,” Jennifer told The U.S. Sun. “Sometimes when someone from the outside is giving you advice, you listen to it more than when it comes from your loved one… Things started working out on its own. We don’t even need therapy anymore. We’re like, ‘Why should we go to therapy? We’re great.’”
