Melissa Gorga Is “Obsessed” with Her New Shore House Addition — but Joe Has Some Thoughts
Joe Gorga revealed why he’s not exactly excited about a new element of the RHONJ couple’s vacation home.
In the exclusive video you can watch above, Melissa Gorga offers a full tour of the stunning $1M Jersey Shore vacation home she owns with her husband, Joe Gorga. Captured in the clip is a stunning view of the 3,500-square-foot house, which has six bedrooms and an expansive open floor plan.
In addition to showing off special features like the spacious dining room with serious beach vibes, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member also pointed to possibly the best part of the house: the massive shore-front deck with a huge pool, large outdoor dining table, multiple firepits, and a bar that doubles as a pool house.
As the summer months begin to roll in, Melissa is giving fans more peeks at her Jersey Shore getaway via her Instagram Stories, recently revealing a special new piece she bought for the seaside abode.
The New Addition to Melissa’s Jersey Shore Home
In an Instagram Story shared on May 31, Melissa snapped an adorable photo of a new specialized doormat from Finley Home Gifts. The doormat read “Missy G’s” in black cursive, referencing a nickname the mom of three has recently taken on.
“I am obsessed with my doormat down the shore,” Melissa wrote over the photo, thanking the home goods company for their customized piece.
Joe, however, wasn’t too thrilled about the new decorative piece, sharing his grievances in a video taken by Melissa.
“Why does it always have to be ‘Missy G’s’?” Joe hilariously asked in the Instagram Story clip. “Why isn’t it ‘Joey G’s’? [...] All over the house, ‘Missy G’s, Missy G’s’!”
“Because that’s what this place is called, get used to it!” Melissa quipped back at her beau.
“[As] soon as you marry ’em, they take it all!” Joe joked.
Whether it’s “Missy G’s” or “Joey G’s,” one thing is for sure: Melissa and Joe’s Jersey Shore home is made for some epic parties.
In the video above, Melissa shows more of the “bar/pool house” that often takes center stage. “This is where everyone gets so excited,” Melissa explains. “We always have the music blasting. It’s always a party.”
She continues: “This is where all the fun happens. Liquor’s always flowing. Let’s not forget: I used to be a bartender.”
What’s more, one of Melissa’s “favorite things” in the bar area is a neon sign that reads “It was all a dream.”
“It truly was all a dream growing up here at the Jersey Shore, and being able to now level up and have a house like this, I’m so blessed and I’m so grateful,” she explains.
