Barbara Kavovit Renovated Her Hamptons Home's Den: See the Before and After
The Real Housewives of New York City friend made a big transformation in only "a couple of weekends."
Barbara Kavovit loves a good construction project. At work, The Real Housewives of New York City friend helms major renovations, including the recent overhaul of a glitzy city spa. But when she has some downtime at home, Barbara's equally content to take on a cozy D.I.Y project.
In a mid-February Instagram post, the Evergreen Construction boss shared a photo of the new media center in her Hamptons Home. (Why yes, this is the very same home from which Sonja Morgan stole lobsters in the clip above.)
"Took a drab wall in my den and with a little inspiration from Pinterest designed and built a GORG media center with an electric fireplace," she wrote. "This is the kind of project you can do possibly on your own in a couple of weekends."
The next photo in the post showed the den before "#barbthebuilder" did her thing. We think you'll agree that the after looks much more inviting than the before:
In the comments, Barbara revealed that the media center's wall is made of "thermo-treated 100 % #green pine wood planks." And in case you're curious — as one follower was — about why the chair is so close to the fireplace, it was just set up that way for the photo.
