The fashion icon and Met Gala regular joins Season 14’s dynamic new cast this summer, alongside Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield. No stranger to the public eye, Jenna — former J. Crew President and Executive Creative Director as well as current LoveSeen CEO — keeps dishing out trendsetting look after look, whether on the red carpet, at the Kentucky Derby, or posted to her Instagram page.

She is known for sporting denims and ball skirts, topping her looks off with her signature slicked hair and thick-rimmed glasses.

“My personal style is best described as a bit tomboy meets granny,” the 54-year-old designer told SheerLuxe, adding that “there is nothing a good white shirt and a red lip can’t elevate” as her secret to great style.

Jenna Lyons’ Glamour Women of the Year 2016 Look

Jenna was right when she said a good look could be elevated with a white shirt, as seen at the Glamour Women of the Year 2016 live summit at NeueHouse Hollywood.

It wasn’t her only look at the event, but Jenna showed the world that sequins could be added to one’s everyday look to make a stand-out and ready-to-wear ensemble for any woman. Donning a multi-colored sequin blazer with pale green khakis, Jenna elevated the look with green pointed-toe flats and her signature hair and glasses.

“For me, it was Lyons who set the bar for ‘personal style,’ not the hordes of preening people outside the shows, many dressed like maniacs to capture the camera’s lens,” wrote Glamour’s Perrie Samotin. “Lyons’ looks were deliberate, yes, but they didn’t feel it.”

In other words, Jenna makes fashion look cool.

The new RHONY cast member brought style onto the set of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March.

Jenna sported iconic wire-rimmed frames (by Dita) on set, leaving her signature thick-rims at home. The accessory complemented her El Cosmico gray sweatshirt, bright pink Lanvin ball skirt (as curated by Net-a-Porter), and maroon pumps by New Bottega Veneta.

The look was elevated by several striking, jeweled pieces by 1stDibs and The Back Vault.

Jenna has rocked the casual top and ball skirt look in the past, including several times on the Met Gala’s red carpet.

Jenna Lyons’ (Multiple) Pajamas Looks

Jenna’s (several) pajama looks have been fashion’s talk of the town for years, including during New York Fashion Week in 2016 when she and former longtime partner Courtney Crangi graced the Altuzzara show in matching Drakes for J. Crew pajamas.

Noting that Jenna doesn’t follow the rules on the red carpet, New York Magazine's The Cut said, “Lyons made it cool to wear pajamas outside the bedroom by using every weapon in her arsenal.”

Of course, Jenna also turned heads with chain mail-draped J. Crew pajamas the 2015 Met Gala.

Jenna Lyons’ Look at Solange Knowles’ Wedding

Jenna donned a fur and feathers ensemble at Solange Knowles’ wedding at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans.

Jenna wore a fur jacket by Prada, along with a floor-sweeping, marabou-feathered skirt by J. Crew and a Celine shirt. She accessorized the look with a handbag designed by Shade Affogbolo and the oversized glasses we all love.

“I was texting with Solange prior to the wedding, and she said that people were going all out,” Jenna told The Cut. “I asked her if I could wear feathers, and she said yes, and she wanted us to all wear white. I had worn that skirt to the Met Ball once and had a strange experience where I walked up the stairs — there was a trail behind me of feathers.”

We can’t wait to see what Jenna Lyons will wear for The Real Housewives of New York City, premiering July 16 at 9/8c on Bravo.
